Licence and Driver Requirements

All customers renting with Velocity Car Rentals must hold a valid and legally recognised driver’s licence suitable for the vehicle being hired. Drivers are responsible for ensuring their licence remains valid throughout the rental period and notifying us of any licence changes.

Booking Changes and Vehicle Availability

While we aim to provide the booked vehicle category, circumstances such as maintenance requirements, mechanical issues, or operational factors may require booking adjustments. Where necessary, an alternative vehicle of similar standard may be provided.

Cancellation Policy

Customers are encouraged to provide advance notice if they need to cancel or modify a booking. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the notice period provided and booking conditions.

No Show and Late Collection

Failure to collect a booked vehicle without prior notice may result in cancellation charges. Late collections may affect vehicle availability and rental scheduling.

Rental Duration and Vehicle Return

Vehicles must be returned by the agreed return date and time unless prior approval has been arranged. Additional charges may apply for late returns or unauthorised extensions.

Vehicle Care and Responsibility

Customers are responsible for operating the vehicle safely and following all Australian road rules during the rental period. Any accident, damage, or mechanical issue should be reported to Velocity Car Rentals as soon as possible.

Additional Charges

Customers may be responsible for charges relating to toll roads, traffic fines, fuel replacement, vehicle damage, or cleaning fees where applicable. All charges will be assessed according to the rental agreement.

Customer Agreement

By completing a booking with Velocity Car Rentals, customers acknowledge they have read and accepted the rental terms and conditions. These conditions are in place to provide a safe, reliable, and professional rental experience for all customers.
